Who We Are
Founded by two judges and a chief probation officer with 85 years’ collective experience working with abused and at-risk children, Ripples of Hope for Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to break the cycle of child abuse and juvenile delinquency by bridging the gaps for children and youth involved in the foster-care and juvenile-justice systems. Working with social service agencies, professional organizations, civic groups, faith-based communities, and caring individuals, Ripples of Hope for Children removes the barriers to success by providing the support structure necessary to strengthen the families of these children by connecting them to critical community services and opportunities. Our vision is to ensure that every child grows up with hope and a positive vision for their future.
Who We Help
- Children/teens abused and/or neglected who have been placed into foster care
- Children/teens on the verge of entering or re-entering the juvenile justice system
- Children/teens struggling with mental health disorders, who need resources to avoid placement into the juvenile justice system
- Children of parents undergoing inpatient substance-abuse treatment, who need emergency care and resources
